The company's commitment begins in 1957 thanks to the will and tenacity of the founder, Gianfranco Vavassori, mainly involved in a first time in the collection of textiles products to be recycled and improving through the years thanks to the typical dedication of a family enterprise combined with the potentialities of a modern and dynamically organized structure.
Starting from the end of the seventies, a second Vavassori generation has taken place in the company, which, with the acquisition of continuous presses, has moved the focus of its operation from textile towards paper materials.
Accurate investments combined with a very specialized 'know how', allow 'GV Macero' to become expert not only for all the paper materials but also packages and differentiated collection of the Town Municipals: white woodfree computer print-out,
white newsprint, white shavings, newsprint, magazines, etc..
In 2003, 'GV MACERO' changed status and became S.p.A. investing main financial resources in a new operative site of over 20.000 sqm. This important step made necessary the expansion towards emerging foreign markets, giving life in 2006 to 'GV Trading Sarl', a merely commercial company based in France.
